Wow, really, I'm not! Just overwhelmed by university and work and Life in General (the Answer to which is, of course, 42 )

Anway, I'm studying Irish and Welsh epics, the Tain Bo Cuailnge (can't seem to get the proper accent marks on there, oh well) and the Mabinogion, respectively. The Tain is fascinating - it contains most of the legends of Ireland's greatest mythological hero, Cuchulainn. Also, at some point my prof will begin helping me translate the texts into the original languages, and teach me the modern forms as well, so that excites me, nerd that I am. ^^

Also, I have a new kitty! I think. It depends on whether he stops eating house plants and running around the house like he's in need of a good exorcist...but he's adorable. Silver-gold tabby with black stripes, white underbelly and on his face, HUGE bat ears ( ) and the cutest little tail in the world. It's sort of bobbed, sort of not. It's only a few inches long, and he wags it like dogs do when he's in a playful mood. He's social and loves people, which is good. I just hope he mellows out in the next few months, as he's already clawed his way up my dad's leg twice and that's not earning the little bugger good points in dad's book at all.

Another also, I ordered a Pullip doll yesterday! Blanche is the one I'm getting. She's so pretty! ^^ Don't have a name yet, but eventually I will. *is very excited*

Anyway, apologies to , whose kiriban is languishing on my computer, and , who was promised a birthday drawing that has yet to meet paper. Sorry guys! I'll try to do something, but drawing time is very thin right now. Or any creative time for that matter, so...be patient, and resist the overwhelming urge to chuck pitchforks at me, 'k?
